Virtual Pipeline. We at Datawiz have been very successful in creating and utilizing a Virtual Pipeline to identify and attract key resources on short notice. Our experienced Resource Specialist will work with our IT Resource Analyst to create a pool of candidates that will be able to support the State with a deep understanding of the environment. Such candidates are found using advanced sourcing tools and skills on Social Media sites such as Quora, GitHub, StackOverflow, Online Blogs and User Groups, LinkedIn, and Facebook, just to name a few. The candidates on these sites are usually passive seekers that subscribe to these sites with professional credentials which, in most cases, immediately validate their professional resume and clarify their career objectives. In addition, we invite our current employees, passive candidates (future employees), and their friends to Datawiz hosted events such as our Technology Breakout Breakfast, picnics, and to occasional happy hours to create an environment in which all can share their experiences, goals, and the latest in technology. By allowing our current and “future” employees to interact during these events, we create a rapport and word of mouth network that is unique and far more effective than placing an ad on a job board alone. We do, however, also use traditional job boards such as Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, and Indeed in addition to our Social Media sourcing. We believe that we have created a solid and proven practice for attracting and building a Virtual Pipeline by utilizing every possibly recruiting avenue. And this formula has proven successful for us time and again.
