Vacation Time – Not Cumulative. Vacation time is granted to employees so that they may have a rest or recreation period during each year. For this reason, vacation time authorized by the Board (Employer) Resolution is not cumulative. The time granted shall be used during the year granted and cannot be carried over into the following year. The exceptions to the above are; An employee, with written approval of the Employer, may carry over earned vacation time from one year to the next so that he may take time off in one (1) year not to exceed six (6) weeks in that one year period. An employee, with written approval of the Employer can receive a payment for up to one (1) full week of unused vacation.
Vacation Time – Not Cumulative. Vacation time must be taken and is not cumulative from year to year.
