Common use of Union Leave/Public Office Clause in Contracts

Union Leave/Public Office. Any employee with seniority elected or appointed to Union office or selected for other Union activities by the National Union, the Ontario Federation of Labour, Canadian Labour Congress and/or Local Union, shall be granted a leave of absence for a period of three (3) years without pay, benefits or loss of seniority.
