Common use of Twelve Month Employees Clause in Contracts

Twelve Month Employees. When schools are closed due to inclement weather or a malfunction of facilities, employees not required to report to work by their supervisor shall not suffer a loss of wages or other benefits for up to four (4) work days. Less Than Twelve-Month Employees When schools are closed due to inclement weather or a malfunction of facilities, employees need not report to work and shall suffer no loss of wages or other benefits unless the particular employee is required to report to work by the immediate supervisor, for up to (4) four work days. However, if schools are closed due to reasons which do not allow scheduled days to be counted as days of student instruction and allow the school district to receive full state aid for those days, the Board shall have the right to reschedule the lost days and the Board shall have the right to require employees to report for work and work the rescheduled days without additional wages, compensation or benefits.
