Common use of Transfer Out of Bargaining Unit Clause in Contracts

Transfer Out of Bargaining Unit. Employees shall not be transferred or promoted out of the bargaining unit without their consent. Such employees shall retain the seniority they have acquired up to the date of leaving the unit, but shall not continue to accumulate seniority for periods of service outside the unit.
