TRANSFER OF VACATION CREDIT. An employee who is transferred, promoted, or demoted to another position at a University campus in which vacation credit can be accumulated shall have any accumulated vacation credit transferred, unless such transfer is in conflict with the terms covering the new position. An employee who is transferred, promoted, or demoted to a position at a campus in which vacation credit does not accumulate shall be paid for any accumulated vacation at the time of transfer. An employee who is transferred, promoted, or demoted to or from a Xxxxxxxx Berkeley National Laboratory position shall be paid for any accumulated vacation at the time of transfer.

An employee who is transferred, promoted, or demoted to a University position for which a transfer of credit is in conflict with an Agreement or in which vacation credit is not earned shall be paid for any earned vacation at the time of transfer. An employee who is transferred, promoted, or demoted to a Laboratory (LBL) position from a campus or from a LBL position to a campus position shall be paid for any earned vacation at the time of transfer.

TRANSFER OF VACATION CREDIT. A permanent classified employee may transfer accumulated vacation credits to another District employee consistent with the terms of this Agreement. Any intended transfer of vacation credit must first be noticed to the Payroll Office.
TRANSFER OF VACATION CREDIT. A doctor who is transferred, promoted, or demoted to another position at a University medical center or campus in which vacation leave can be accrued, shall have any accumulated vacation credit transferred, unless such transfer is in conflict with the terms covering the new position. Supervisors on a Military Leave under Appendix I shall earn vacation leave as though actually employed, without regard to the maximum accumulation set forth above. Vacation earned in excess of the maximum accumulation shall be taken within two (2) years of the date the supervisor returns from the Military Leave.

  • Liquidation of Vacation Leave 31.5.1 Upon application by the employee and at the discretion of the Council, earned but unused vacation leave credits in excess of one hundred twelve decimal five (112.5) hours may be paid at the employee's daily rate of pay in his substantive position unless the employee has been in an acting position for more than six (6) months at the time of the request.
