Test specimens. The dimensions of the test specimen shall norma11y be those specified in the appropriate test method for the property or properties to be measured after exposure. The number of control and test specimens for each test condition or exposure stage shall be determined, in addition to those required for visual evaluations by the number required by the test methods. It is recommended that visual evaluations be conducted on the largest test specimens tested.

Test specimens. When required by the contract, Seller will provide test specimens to Buyer for verification and validation.
Test specimens. For quality control of concrete, one set of 3 cylinders shall be made each day concrete is placed and an additional set of 3 cylinders shall be made for each 50 cubic yards (or major fraction thereof) over and above the first 50 cubic yards placed during that day. One cylinder each shall be broken at 7 & 28 days and one cylinder shall remain unbroken, unless otherwise directed. Unit weight, slump, and air content tests shall be made at the rate of not less than one each per day concrete is placed plus one each for each 100 cubic yards (or major fraction thereof) over and above the first 100 cubic yards placed during that day. All concrete test specimens shall be made in conformity with ASTM C 31, from concrete sampled per ASTM C 172, cured and stored as stipulated in subparagraphs (a) and (b) of Section 7 of ASTM C 31, and tested in conformity with ASTM C 39. Unit weight, slump, air content, and cores shall be tested using standard ASTM tests.

Test specimens. Preparation and welding of test specimens shall be performed under the general conditions of production welding. The test specimens shall be designed such that their shapes and dimensions simulate the actual welding conditions of the product. This includes welding positions and other essential items (for example conditions, access, …). When actual components are used, fixtures shall be those that will be used in production.

  • Escrow Format Specification 3.1. Deposit’s Format. All specifications provided hereunder shall be deemed to be Confidential Information.

  • SAMPLE (i) Unless agreed otherwise, wheeled or track lay- ing equipment shall not be operated in areas identified as needing special measures except on roads, landings, tractor roads, or skid trails approved under B5.1 or B6.422. Purchaser may be required to backblade skid trails and other ground disturbed by Purchaser’s Opera- tions within such areas in lieu of cross ditching required under B6.6. Additional special protection measures needed to protect such known areas are identified in C6.24.
