Termination of Membership During the Membership Year. The Board Treasurer shall, upon notification from the employee organization that a member has terminated membership, commence the deduction of the fair share fee with respect to the former member (the amount of the fee yet to be deducted shall be the annual fair share fee less the amount previously paid through payroll deduction). The deduction of this amount shall commence on the first pay occurring on or after forty-five (45) days from the termination of membership.

A member who wishes to cancel payroll deduction of dues may do so by notifying the District Treasurer and the Association President in writing not less than two (2) weeks prior to the effective date of the payroll change.
