System Design Criteria. The heating, ventilating and air-conditioning (“HVAC”) system is designed to maintain conditions pursuant to codes and standards complying with the requirements of all federal, state and all local codes having jurisdiction. The base building HVAC system is an all-electric central plant system with air cooled chillers, heat recovery chillers, central station air-handling units, energy recovery units and electric hot water boilers serving terminal VAV units. The Authority’s Engineer shall review the Maintenance Manual within 15 (fifteen) days of its receipt and communicate its comments to the Contractor for necessary modifications, if any.
