Salaries wages and other similar remuneration, other than a pension, paid by a Contracting State or a political subdivision or a local authority thereof to an individual in respect of services rendered to that State or subdivision or authority shall be taxable only in that State.
Benefits Perquisites and Expenses Benefits. During the Term, the Executive shall be eligible to participate in (1) each welfare benefit plan sponsored or maintained by the Company, including, without limitation, each life, hospitalization, medical, dental, health, accident or disability insurance or similar plan or program of the Company, and (2) each pension, profit sharing, retirement, deferred compensation or savings plan sponsored or maintained by the Company, in each case, whether now existing or established hereafter, to the extent that the Executive is eligible to participate in any such plan under the generally applicable provisions thereof. With respect to the pension or retirement benefits payable to the Executive, the Executive's service credited for purposes of determining the Executive's benefits and vesting shall be determined in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan or program. Nothing in this Section 3(c), in and of itself, shall be construed to limit the ability of the Company to amend or terminate any particular plan, program or arrangement. For the purposes of defining years of service, the Executive shall be given credit for his/her years of service with Genesis Health Ventures, Inc.
DIRECT PERSONNEL EXPENSE 4.1. Direct Personnel Expense of employees engaged on the Project by the ARCHITECT/ENGINEER includes ARCHITECT/ENGINEERS, other engineers, designers, job captains, draftsmen, specification writers and typists, in consultation, research and design in producing Drawings, Specifications and other documents pertaining to the Project, and in services during construction at the site.
Compensation and Method of Payment Subject to any limitations set forth below or elsewhere in this Agreement, District agrees to pay Consultant the amounts specified in Exhibit B “Compensation”. The total compensation shall not exceed Six Thousand Dollars ($6,000.00), unless additional compensation is approved in writing by the District.
Payment of Salaries Short-term relievers
Travel Expense Any EMPLOYEE who must use his personal automobile or otherwise provide his own transportation when on school district business shall be reimbursed by the BOARD according to the amount established by current BOARD policy.
COMPENSATION; EXPENSES (a) In consideration of the foregoing, the Advisor shall pay the Sub-advisor, with respect to the Fund, a fee as specified in Appendix B hereto. Such fees shall be accrued by the Advisor daily and shall be payable monthly in arrears on the first business day of each calendar month for services performed hereunder during the prior calendar month. If fees begin to accrue in the middle of a month or if this Agreement terminates before the end of any month, all fees for the period from that date to the end of that month or from the beginning of that month to the date of termination, as the case may be, shall be prorated according to the proportion that the period bears to the full month in which the effectiveness or termination occurs. Upon the termination of this Agreement with respect to the Fund, the Advisor shall pay to the Sub-advisor such compensation as shall be payable prior to the effective date of termination.
Medical Expenses 1. Employees exposed to hazardous physical, biological, or chemical agents shall be provided, at no cost to the employee, with medical examinations or evaluations required by VOSHA regulations. If there are no specific VOSHA regulations or standards for the agent in question, recommendations of the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health or other generally recognized expert organization shall be used, as determined by the Commissioner of Health.
Minimum Salaries 12.1 The minimum academic base salary for all Bargaining Unit members shall be as follows: Rank Effective 9/1/2019 Professor $80,250 Assoc. Professor $64,875 Asst. Professor $53,125 Instructor $45,500 Senior Librarian $80,250 Assoc. Sr. Librarian $68,875 Assoc. Librarian $62,875 Asst. Librarian $53,125 Beg. Librarian $45,500 Faculty Members earning a base salary below the effective minima shall move to the new minima and receive any across-the-board and benchmark increases under Article 10 on his or her minima. Faculty Members who will receive regional campus increases under Article 10 of this Agreement shall receive those increases before any adjustment to meet the minimum salary required by this Article.
Medical/Dental Expense Account The Employer agrees to allow insurance eligible employees to participate in a medical and dental expense reimbursement program to cover co- payments, deductibles and other medical and dental expenses or expenses for services not covered by health or dental insurance on a pre-tax basis as permitted by law or regulation, up to the maximum amount of salary reduction contributions allowed per calendar year under Section 125 of the Internal Revenue Code or other applicable federal law.
