Studen t Teacher/Observer. The principal will notify the teacher as soon as possible before a student teacher or student observer is assigned to him/her and the teacher shall have the right to accept or reject same. Any monies made available by sending college/university shall be given to the supervising teacher.

  • Student Teachers 8.05.01.A No teacher will be required to accept the responsibility of supervising student teachers; it is believed that professionally interested teachers will volunteer to do so from time to time.

  • Observers One or more non-voting observers to the Board and/or its committees may be selected by the Shareholders. Any such observer shall hold such position until the observer’s successor is selected, or until the observer’s resignation or removal. An observer may resign by written notice to the Corporation. The resignation is effective on its receipt by the Corporation or at a subsequent time as set forth in the notice of resignation. Subject to the provisions of any Shareholder Agreement, an observer may be removed, with or without cause, by the Shareholders, and thereupon the term of the observer who shall have been so removed shall forthwith terminate. Each observer shall be entitled to attend all meetings (including telephonic meetings) of the Board and the Board’s committees to which it has been granted observer rights. Each observer shall be entitled to receive (x) notices of all meetings of the Board and the Board’s committees to which it has been granted observer rights and (y) all information delivered to the members of the Board and the Board’s committees to which it has been granted observer rights in connection with such meetings, in each case to the extent and at the same time such notice and information is delivered to the members of the Board and its committees. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Chairperson of the Board (if the office is filled) or the President & CEO shall (a) excuse any observer from any portion of a Board meeting or a meeting of its committees to the extent such observer’s participation in such meeting is reasonably likely to adversely affect the attorney/client privilege of the Corporation and its legal advisors and (b) withhold information from any observer delivered to the Board and the Board’s committees to which it has been granted observer rights prior to a meeting of the Board or, as the case may be, such committee, in each case if the Chairperson of the Board (if the office is filled) or the President & CEO believes there is a reasonable likelihood that the receipt of such information by the observer may adversely affect the attorney/client privilege of the Corporation and its legal advisors.

  • Local Union Observer The President of the Union or their designate may, upon an applicant's request, sit as an observer on a selection committee for posted positions within the bargaining unit. The observer will be a disinterested party.

  • Parent-Teacher Conferences A. Unit member shall be available at mutually arranged times during the regular school day to confer with parents regarding learning difficulties, student progress and/or behavioral problems a student may be experiencing. Unit members are encouraged to arrange a meeting or conference with parents before or after the regular school day if both time and place are mutually agreeable.

  • Union Observer ‌ The President of the Union or their designate may sit as an observer on a selection panel, including panel deliberations following selection tests, for positions in the bargaining unit.   • Union/Management Meetings ‌ The Union Committee and the Senior Union Official of the Union, or her/his representative, shall, as occasion warrants, meet with the Committee on Labour Relations for the purpose of discussing and negotiating a speedy settlement of any grievance or dispute arising between the Employer and the employee concerned, including possible re-negotiations relative to this Agreement and the Schedules which are a part hereof. However, except for renegotiations of Agreements, these matters shall be introduced to such meetings only after the established grievance procedure has been followed. Grievances of a general nature may be initiated by a member of the Union Committee in step two of the grievance procedure outlined in Article 9.04.

  • Traveling Teachers 1. Each traveling teacher shall be given a minimum of fifteen (15) minutes to travel from one building to another. The fifteen (15) minutes shall come from the total student contact time of the traveling teacher.

  • Team Leader In each of the categories described above, a Team Leader, besides knowing all of the specialization and orientation of their category, must have proved certifiable, technical expertise and aptitude, show leadership capabilities in management, coordination, training and work team skills. On the basis of the aforesaid attributes, a person can be promoted to a higher position within the same category and shall be known as Team Leader. The Team Leader will have the necessary knowledge and responsibility for the product, equipment, processes and their quality, Health and Safety Practices, verification of the availability of the necessary inputs and tools, and deviation and follow-up analysis. The Company will select Team Leaders in accordance with Article 14.2 (c). The Team Leader will have authority to direct workers both inside and outside of the bargaining unit.
