Common use of Step Two - Chief of Police Clause in Contracts

Step Two - Chief of Police. 1. Should the grievant not be satisfied with the response at Step One, the grievant may appeal the grievance to the Chief of Police. The grievant shall initiate this appeal by delivering, within seven (7) calendar days after receipt of the Step One response, a copy of the grievance form and any other pertinent documents to the Office of the Chief of Police. The Chief of Police shall note on the grievance form the date of its receipt.

The Chief of Police shall note on the grievance form will be stamped in the Chief’s office to reflect the date of its receipt. Any grievance submitted after the seven (7) day limit shall not be considered.
