STEAM GENERATION, WASTE WATER/GROUND WATER TREATMENT. An employee with seniority transferred to the classifica‑ tion of Operating Assistant or Expeditor will receive the classified rate of the job. This employee is required to be enrolled immediately in the Modular Training Program for Operating Engineers. They are required to write the first exam within the first six months in the position. Upon successful completion of this exam the Operat‑ ing Assistant will receive an increase of the midpoint between the Operating Assistant and 4th Class rate. All examinations necessary to obtain a Fourth Class Sta‑ tionary Engineer’s certificate must be completed within eighteen months as of the date of transfer, which may be extended to twenty four (24) months at the discretion of the Chief Operating Engineer in consultation with the Union. The Employer shall pay the cost of an examina‑ tion upon successful completion, and where an employ‑ ee requests study time during working hours, the Chief Operating Engineer will make every reasonable effort to grant such time, subject to operational requirements. If the employee has failed to obtain the required certifi‑ cate within the above time limit, the employee may be replaced by another employee through the job posting procedure. Employees qualifying or hired into any level of the Oper‑ ating Engineer classifications are encouraged and ex‑ pected to continue their training to the next level. Once obtaining the next level the employee will be paid at that rate once the certificate is obtained and presented to the Company.

  • Required Coverages For Generation Resources Of 20 Megawatts Or Less Each Constructing Entity shall maintain the types of insurance as described in section 11.1 paragraphs (a) through (e) above in an amount sufficient to insure against all reasonably foreseeable direct liabilities given the size and nature of the generating equipment being interconnected, the interconnection itself, and the characteristics of the system to which the interconnection is made. Additional insurance may be required by the Interconnection Customer, as a function of owning and operating a Generating Facility. All insurance shall be procured from insurance companies rated “A-,” VII or better by AM Best and authorized to do business in a state or states in which the Interconnection Facilities are located. Failure to maintain required insurance shall be a Breach of the Interconnection Construction Service Agreement.
