Status as Volunteer. Student Volunteer acknowledges and certifies that s/he is performing services related to research activities of (“Faculty Member”) for the University for civic, charitable and humanitarian reasons, and as a volunteer as that term is defined in the Fair Labor Standards Act. Student Volunteer does not expect, nor has s/he been promised, nor will s/he receive, any compensation for his/her services. Student volunteer certifies that s/he is offering his/her services freely and without pressure or coercion, direct or implied, from the University or from Faculty Member.

Status as Volunteer. Coach acknowledges he/she is a volunteer. Coach specifically acknowledges that this Contract does not establish any employment relationship or right to employment with the District, including but not limited to, probationary or permanent employment status.

  • Continuous Operation The work week shall provide for continuous operation based on a seven (7) day week, twenty-four (24) hours per day.

  • Impairment of Service The characteristics and methods of operation of any circuits, facilities or equipment of either Party connected with the services, facilities or equipment of the other Party pursuant to this Agreement shall not interfere with or impair service over any facilities of the other Party, its affiliated companies, or its connecting and concurring carriers involved in its services, cause damage to its plant, violate any applicable law or regulation regarding the invasion of privacy of any communications carried over the Party's facilities or create hazards to the employees of either Party or to the public (each hereinafter referred to as an "Impairment of Service").
