The Offeror shall:  Explain approach to providing the staffing (skill mix) necessary to perform the requirements of the SOW, including the assignments and the skills required for other-than-key personnel, and incumbent skill retention.  Provide recruitment plans, methods, and sources for hiring personnel.  Describe its policies and incentives to minimize turnover and to retain experienced personnel.  Describe its plans for short notice, rapid (within 30 calendar days) recruiting of experienced and qualified personnel (other than key personnel), subcontracting arrangements, and other cross-utilization of personnel to meet changing requirements of the contract.  Explain its plans for internal training.

Approach shall include the assignments and the skills required for other-than-key personnel and incumbent skill retention.  Recruitment plans, methods, and employee retention plans.  Plans for internal training, mentoring, and career development.  Process(es) for dealing with underperforming employees.  Plans for short notice, rapid (within 30 calendar days) recruiting of experienced and qualified personnel (other than key personnel), subcontracting arrangements, and other cross-utilization of personnel to meet changing requirements of the contract.  Processes for hiring and retaining uniquely qualified individuals, including senior researchers and, when necessary, foreign nationals with various immigration status (H1, J1, green card, etc.).

  • Orientation and Training A transferring employee will be orientated separately to both or their new home in accordance with Article 20 the collective agreement of the designated employer.

  • Education and Training The foundation of this Program is education and voluntary compliance. It is recognized that alcohol and chemical dependency may make voluntary cessation of use difficult, and one of the Program’s principal aims is to make voluntary steps toward ending substance abuse easily available. The outside contractor shall review and develop on-going educational and training information on the adverse consequences of substance abuse and the responsibility to avoid being under the influence of alcohol or chemicals at work. Certain training required by the DOT Regulations shall be the responsibility of the Substance Abuse Program.

  • Training and Orientation (a) No employee shall be required to work on any job or operate any piece of equipment until he/she has received proper training and instruction.

  • Employment and Training Administration The ratio of trainees to journeymen on the job site shall not be greater than permitted under the plan approved by the Employment and Training Administration. Every trainee must be paid at not less than the rate specified in the approved program for the trainee's level of progress, expressed as a percentage of the journeyman hourly rate specified in the applicable wage determination. Trainees shall be paid fringe benefits in accordance with the provisions of the trainee program. If the trainee program does not mention fringe benefits, trainees shall be paid the full amount of fringe benefits listed on the wage determination unless the Administrator of the Wage and Hour Division determines that there is an apprenticeship program associated with the corresponding journeyman wage rate on the wage determination which provides for less than full fringe benefits for apprentices. Any employee listed on the payroll at a trainee rate who is not registered and participating in a training plan approved by the Employment and Training Administration shall be paid not less than the applicable wage rate on the wage determination for the classification of work actually performed. In addition, any trainee performing work on the job site in excess of the ratio permitted under the registered program shall be paid not less than the applicable wage rate on the wage determination for the work actually performed. In the event the Employment and Training Administration withdraws approval of a training program, the contractor will no longer be permitted to utilize trainees at less than the applicable predetermined rate for the work performed until an acceptable program is approved.

  • First Aid Training a) The Employer will encourage employees to take first-aid and refresher courses and for this purpose will assume the cost of first-aid training. Employees selected by the Employer for first-aid training shall be granted time off without loss of pay.

  • EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING 1. The State agrees to provide advice and counseling to employees with respect to career advancement opportunities and agency developments which have an impact on their careers.

  • Training a. The employer, in consultation with the local, shall be responsible for developing and implementing an ongoing harassment and sexual harassment awareness program for all employees. Where a program currently exists and meets the criteria listed in this agreement, such a program shall be deemed to satisfy the provisions of this article. This awareness program shall initially be for all employees and shall be scheduled at least once annually for all new employees to attend.

  • Professional Development and Training 4.1 The purpose of professional development and training requirements for interpreters is to maintain the skill levels interpreters possess at the time they pass their interpreter certification examination, and to further enhance their skills and knowledge. Both the State and the Union encourage interpreters to complete training and continuing education activities.

  • PERSONNEL DISCLOSURE 25 25.1 CONTRACTOR shall make available to ADMINISTRATOR a current list of 26 all personnel providing services hereunder, including résumés and job 27 applications. Changes to the list will be immediately provided to 28 ADMINISTRATOR in writing, along with a copy of a résumé and/or job 1 application. The list shall include:

  • Consideration of Criminal History in Hiring and Employment Decisions 10.14.1 Contractor agrees to comply fully with and be bound by all of the provisions of Chapter 12T, “City Contractor/Subcontractor Consideration of Criminal History in Hiring and Employment Decisions,” of the San Francisco Administrative Code (“Chapter 12T”), including the remedies provided, and implementing regulations, as may be amended from time to time. The provisions of Chapter 12T are incorporated by reference and made a part of this Agreement as though fully set forth herein. The text of the Chapter 12T is available on the web at xxxx://xxxxx.xxx/olse/fco. Contractor is required to comply with all of the applicable provisions of 12T, irrespective of the listing of obligations in this Section. Capitalized terms used in this Section and not defined in this Agreement shall have the meanings assigned to such terms in Chapter 12T.
