Common use of Sick Leave Accrual Rate Clause in Contracts

Sick Leave Accrual Rate. All full-time employees of the Association shall receive sick leave benefits at the rate of eight (8) hours per calendar month beginning with the first month of completed service to the City. Employees who are absent without pay for any reason for more than eighty (80) hours of regularly scheduled work hours during a calendar month do not earn sick leave benefits for that month.

All full-time employees of the Association Unit shall receive sick leave benefits at the rate of eight four (8) 4) hours per calendar month beginning with the first month pay period of completed service to with the City. Employees who are absent without pay for any reason for more than eighty (80) hours of regularly scheduled work hours during a calendar month do not earn sick leave benefits for that month. Regular part-time employees shall receive sick leave credit on a pro-rated basis determined by the actual hours worked in relationship to full-time employment.
