Common use of Sick Days Clause in Contracts

Sick Days. (1) Employees will be eligible for ten (10) paid sick days on January 1 each calendar year. Employees rehired, or initially hired after January 31st of each year will have a prorated Sick Day Allowance based on 1/12TH of the total annual allotment of ten (10) days, or 80 hours (equivalent to 6.67 hours per month).Such employee will be credited with a full month’s allotment for the month of hire.

Sick Days. (1) a. Full-Time Employees will shall be eligible for credited with ten (10) paid sick days on January 1 1st of each year. New Full-Time Employees who start their employment after January 1st shall earn one (1) sick day on their date of hire; followed by three-fourths (3/4) days per subsequent month of service through December 31st of that calendar year. Employees rehired, or initially hired after January 31st of each year will have a prorated Sick Day Allowance based on 1/12TH of the total annual allotment of ten (10) days, or 80 hours (equivalent to 6.67 hours per month).Such employee will be credited with a full month’s allotment for the month of hire.

Sick Days. On January 1 of each year, employees who were paid one thousand eight hundred seventy-two (1872) hours or more in the prior calendar year will be granted two (2) sick days. Employees with one (1) Employees or more years of service who normally work thirty-six (36) or more hours per week who were on an approved leave of absence during the prior calendar year will be eligible for ten (10) paid afforded the sick days on January 1 each calendar year. Employees rehired, should they average thirty-six (36) or initially hired after January 31st of each year will have a prorated Sick Day Allowance based on 1/12TH of the total annual allotment of ten (10) days, or 80 hours (equivalent to 6.67 more hours per month).Such employee will be credited with a full month’s allotment week for the month of hireweeks actually worked.
