Seniority Terminated. An employee shall lose seniority only by discharge, voluntary quit, or more than a five (5) year layoff. In the event of a layoff, an employee so laid off shall be given ten (10) days notice of recall mailed to his/her last known address. The employee must respond to such notice within three (3) days after receipt of notice and must actually report to work not later than seven (7) days after receipt of the certified notice unless otherwise mutually agreed to. In the event the employee fails to comply with the above, he/she shall lose all seniority rights under this Agreement.
