Section 11.10.3. 36 Qualified laid off employees who have applied for an open position, covered by this Agreement 37 but outside their previous job classification, shall be given consideration for the position after 38 current employees and laid off employees in that job classification have been considered. 39

The 42 District shall have the right to suspend an employee at will at the employee's regular rate of pay. 44 Section 11.2. 12.2 45 Except in extraordinary cases, and as otherwise provided in this Article, the District will give an 46 employee two (2) weeks notice of intention to layoff, and one (1) week notice of intention to 47 discharge. Class-size Para-educators will normally receive one (1) week notice of intention to layoff. 48 The employee will give the District two (2) weeks notice of intention to resign.
