Salary Placement Upon. Reclassification Any employee in the bargaining unit receiving an upward classification under the provisions of this Agreement shall be moved to the range and step of the new class that represents the first highest dollar amount above the salary being earned prior to reclassification. If the employee is eligible for a step increment within ninety (90) calendar days of the date of upward classification, the dollar value of said anticipated increment shall be used as the basis for calculating placement at the next highest dollar amount in the salary range of the promotional class. However, if one job involves a night shift differential and the other does not, said differential shall be disregarded in making the range and step calculations contemplated herein.

  • Salary Placement Entry-level placement on the salary schedule shall be at the lowest step of the schedule for the classification or at the hourly rate established for the classification, unless the District authorizes hiring at a higher rate.

  • Initial Salary Placement Step Upon initial employment by the District, child Development Teachers and Family Services Leads shall be given up to 7 years of credit for prior experience in a full-time teaching position with a State or Federally funded program, where the number of days worked in any given school year were in excess of 135.   • Salary Schedule Placement All bargaining unit employees will have their base salaries set on the following salary schedule based on their years of service in their current job title and band. All employees who have been in their current job title and band for six or more years will have their base salaries set at the market salaries identified in the schedule for their job titles and band assignments. No employee will suffer a reduction in salary as a result of the pay schedule’s implementation.

  • Increment Date for Salary Grid Placement Upon achieving one (1) year of experience, an increment shall be awarded on the first of the month following the month in which the experience accumulation is earned.

  • Salary Upon Promotion Except as otherwise provided herein, any full or part-time employee who is promoted to a position in a class allocated to a higher salary range than the class from which the employee was promoted shall receive the salary step rate of the appropriate range which would constitute an increase of salary most closely equivalent to five (5) percent of the employee's salary step rate before promotion, but not less than the minimum salary range of the new class nor greater than the maximum salary of the new class. If a promotion occurs on the same day a merit increase is due and approved, the merit increase shall be computed first and subsequently the increase due to promotion. An employee who is promoted shall be considered for a merit increase when the employee's total hours in pay status, exclusive of overtime subsequent to promotion, equals 1040 hours. The effective date of the merit increase shall be in accordance with Article 7.21.

  • Salary Scale The salary scale applicable to Employees shall be set out hereinafter in the Wage Schedule.

  • Deferred Salary Leave Plan 1. The Board shall administer a Deferred Salary Leave Plan as determined by a separate agreement.

  • Placement on Salary Schedule The following rules shall be applicable in determining placement of a teacher on the appropriate salary schedule:

Senior teacher K3 and K4 salaries were benchmarked to the base salary (excluding the roll-based supplementary component) of a primary U2 and U3 principal respectively.

  • General Salary Increase 1. Effective with the start of the pay week commencing closest to September 1, 2013, employees shall be provided an across-the-board salary increase of one percent (1%). Salary schedules shall be increased accordingly.
