Salary on Demotion. (a) An employee shall not have their salary reduced by reason of a change in the classification of their position that is caused other than by the employee, including a reclassification or placement pursuant to Article 13 –

(a) An employee shall not have their salary reduced by reason of a change in the classification of their position that is caused other than by the employee, including a reclassification or placement pursuant to Article 13 –13. The employee shall remain at their current salary until the salary in the new classification attains that level, after which the employee will be entitled to regular salary increases, if any.
