Demotion Other Than for Cause. An employee who takes a voluntary demotion shall receive a salary within the range for the class to which they are demoted as determined by the Agency. However, an employee may continue to receive a rate of pay in excess of that maximum upon the recommendation of the Agency and approval of the Commissioner of Minnesota Management and Budget.
