Safety Equipment & Protective Clothing. All employees covered by this Ordinance shall be provided with safety equipment and protective clothing in accordance with Cal-OSHA requirements and as deemed appropriate by and authorized by the Appointing Officer or designee.
Safety Equipment & Protective Clothing. All employees shall be supplied with all necessary safety tools and equipment as required. The Employer will supply safety gloves, safety goggles and hard hats as required. The Employer will provide coveralls to those employees working outside including garage and treatment plant operators, and shall be responsible for the cost of cleaning, repair and replacement of the coveralls provided. Such coveralls shall remain the property of the Employer. Each regularpermanent employee in the Arena/Parks and Public Works department will be reimbursed, by the Village to a maximum of One Hundred and Twenty-Five ($125.00) dollars, for the cost of a pair of safety boots each year upon submission of proof of purchase. on the first pay period of December, $125 safety boot allowance. Safety boots will be supplied to Hot Springs regular employees as required. Boots will remain at the Hot Springs and will be the property of the Village.

The City will pay the uniform allowance in the payroll that includes September 1 of each year. Represented employees must be on duty status or approved leave on each September 1 to be eligible for the uniform allowance.
