Safety Equipment & Protective Clothing. All employees covered by this Ordinance shall be provided with safety equipment and protective clothing in accordance with Cal-OSHA requirements and as deemed appropriate by and authorized by the Appointing Officer or designee.

Safety Equipment & Protective Clothing. All employees shall be supplied with all necessary safety tools and equipment as required. The Employer will supply safety gloves, safety goggles and hard hats as required. The Employer will provide coveralls to those employees working outside including garage and treatment plant operators, and shall be responsible for the cost of cleaning, repair and replacement of the coveralls provided. Such coveralls shall remain the property of the Employer. Each regularpermanent employee in the Arena/Parks and Public Works department will be reimbursed, by the Village to a maximum of One Hundred and Twenty-Five ($125.00) dollars, for the cost of a pair of safety boots each year upon submission of proof of purchase. on the first pay period of December, $125 safety boot allowance. Safety boots will be supplied to Hot Springs regular employees as required. Boots will remain at the Hot Springs and will be the property of the Village.

  • Personal Protective Clothing 11.1 On commencement of employment with the Employer each employee will be issued with the following; • Two pairs of overalls or agreed alternative such as two shirts and two pairs of pants or jeans. • One pair of approved safety boots to the value of $75.00 increasing to a value of $80.00 from 1 July 2006, increasing to a value of $85.00 from 1 July 2009. • One bluey jacket or agreed equivalent (May to October).   • Protective Clothing and Equipment The Employer recognizes the safety concerns of all staff and shall provide all employees whose work requires them to wear protective equipment with the necessary equipment and protective clothing. This committee may make recommendations on such equipment (e.g., gloves, long sleeved gowns, masks, goggles). These shall be maintained and replaced, where necessary, at the Employer's expense. Where the committee recommends the wearing of such protective clothing and equipment, and the Employer implements such recommendation, employees are obligated to comply with such recommendation(s).

  • Uniforms and Protective Clothing 28.1 Where the employer requires an employee to wear a uniform, it shall be provided free of charge, but shall remain the property of the employer.

  • Safety Equipment Should the employment duties of an employee in the bargaining unit require use of any equipment or gear to insure the safety of the employee or others, the District agrees to furnish such equipment or gear.

  • UNIFORMS AND SAFETY EQUIPMENT 214. For employees required by the Appointing Officer to wear a uniform, beginning in fiscal year 2006-2007 and continuing for the duration of this Agreement, the City agrees to provide a uniform allowance each year in the amount of eight hundred fifty dollars ($850). The City will pay the uniform allowance in the payroll that includes September 1 of each year. Represented employees must be on duty status or approved leave on each September 1 to be eligible for the uniform allowance. Any eligible employee hired on or after March 1 will receive fifty percent (50%) of the uniform allowance that year.
