The 'Safety gloves' clause requires individuals to wear protective gloves when handling certain materials or performing specific tasks that pose a risk to their hands. Typically, this clause applies in environments such as construction sites, laboratories, or manufacturing facilities where exposure to chemicals, sharp objects, or extreme temperatures is possible. By mandating the use of safety gloves, the clause aims to minimize the risk of injury, ensuring a safer working environment and compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
Safety gloves. The Department of Labor and Industries will provide inspectors with the following:
A. One (1) pair of work boots per year;
B. Footwear appropriate for the hazard;
C. Safety glasses/eye protection (prescription only to include frames and lenses every two (2) years, where required); transition lenses if requested; and
Safety gloves. Every person shall wear safety gloves for the whole time that they are at the construction site or at the plant. The safety gloves shall be suitable for the nature of activities carried out by the person.
Safety gloves. The parties agree that the IHSS Public Authority will provide workers with protective gloves for the purposes of delivering IHSS care to IHSS clients. Gloves shall be provided to workers upon request.
