A PEFT is an electronic fund transfer that is authorized in advance and is scheduled to recur on a periodic basis. One-time transfers authorized in advance, however, are not PEFTs and are instead governed by Section 10.2.

The closing of the account upon which this check is drawn shall automatically cancel this order. It is understood that if a third person (including another branch of the bank) becomes a holder in due course of this check, he may be entitled to enforce payment against the drawer. Each Stop Payment made online will be in effect for up to six (6) months from the date of posting the notice. You will incur stop-payment charges as disclosed in Section 29 Schedule of Fees & Chargers.
