Retention & Accumulation of Seniority on Transfer Outside Bargaining Unit. (a) It is understood than an employee shall not be transferred by the Hospital to a position outside the bargaining unit without their consent except in the case of temporary assignments not exceeding twelve (12) months. This period may be extended further six (6) months upon the agreement of the employee and the Hospital. Such employees on temporary assignments shall remain members of the bargaining unit and would continue to accrue seniority.
