RECOGNITION/EMPLOYER. 4.1 The Employer recognizes the Union as the sole and exclusive bargaining representative in all matters establishing and pertaining to wages and salaries, hours, and working conditions for all employees of the University of Washington in bargaining units certified by the Washington Personnel Resources Board, the Public Employment Relations Commission and/or the Department of Labor and Industries under the jurisdiction of RCW 28B.16 and 41.80. The composition of these units is as set forth in Appendix I of this Agreement – Bargaining Units Represented by the Service Employees International Union Healthcare 1199NW.
