Rate of Pay for Holiday Worked. Per Section 10.02, there are four (4) floating holidays plus Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Xx. Day which are paid holidays. In the event that a bargaining unit employee works on one of these days, he/she will be compensated at time and one-half (1 1/2) the regular straight-time rate of pay. This pay is in addition to the holiday pay.

Rate of Pay for Holiday Worked. In the event that work is required on any of the eleven University holidays listed above by employees covered by this Agreement, compensation will be at one and one-half (1.5) times the regular straight-time rate of pay. This is in addition to any holiday pay which may be provided on these days. Article XI

Related to Rate of Pay for Holiday Worked

  • Rate of Pay a. An Employee who is employed as a teacher teaching on call shall be paid 1/189 of his/her category classification and experience, to a maximum of the rate at Category 5 Step 7, for each full day worked.

  • Pay for Holidays Worked (a) When an employee is required to work on a designated holiday, the employee shall be paid compensation, or given compensatory time off, for such work at the rate of time and one-half the employee’s regular rate of pay, in addition to regular pay received for all hours worked for the holiday.

  • Daily Rate of Pay In applying these provisions an employee's daily rate of pay shall be the daily rate including career increments at the time of retirement, as provided in the basic salary schedule for the fiscal year, and shall not include any additional compensation for overtime, or other extra compensation.

  • Regular Rate of Pay The regular rate of pay for each position in the bargaining unit shall be in accordance with the rates established for each class provided for in Appendix B. The regular rate of pay shall include any longevity increment required to be paid under this Agreement.
