Proportionate Leave on Termination. 26.9.1 If an employee: • after one month’s continuous service in the first qualifying twelve monthly period with an employer, leaves the employment of the employer or his/her employment is terminated by the employer, or • after twelve months’ continuous service with an employer, leaves the employment of the employer or his/her employment is terminated by the employer; the employee shall be paid a twelfth of his/her ordinary rate of wage at the same rate in respect of each completed month of continuous service, the service being service in respect of which leave has not been granted hereunder.
