PROFESSIONAL LEAVE WITH PAY. Faculty members may be granted leave with pay at the discretion of the employer for the following purposes: attendance at professional meetings, workshops, conferences or seminars, inter-school visiting or other activities deemed appropriate. Requests for such leave shall be made in writing at least ten (10) days in advance of the date of the leave. Reimbursement for travel while on professional leave with pay shall be made in accordance with Section 4.2 of this agreement.
