Professional Dues and Payroll. 3.2.1. Any unit member who is a member of the AVTA/CTA/NEA or who has applied for membership may sign and deliver to the Association an assignment authorizing deduction of unified membership dues, initiation fees and general assessment of the Association. Pursuant to notification of such authorization, the District shall deduct one-tenth (1/10) of such dues from the regular salary check of the unit members, each month for ten (10) months. Deductions for unit members who sign such authorization after the commencement of the school year shall be appropriately pro-rated to complete payments by the end of the year.

  • PROFESSIONAL DUES AND PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS A. For Dues paying members, The District shall deduct one-twelfth (1/12) of dues and representation fee from the regular salary check of the unit member each month for twelve (12) months. Deductions for unit members who begin paid service after the commencement of the school year shall be prorated based on percentage of employment. Unit members serving one-half time paid service or less shall pay one-half of the dues and representation fee.

  • Professional Dues The school district will pay the annual dues for the Superintendent’s membership in the American Association of School Administrators, Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and Nebraska Council of School Administrators.
