Product Standards Specifications. The General B22 to E27 CFL Lamps Adapters must comply with the following SABS requirements:  Eskom’s requirement is that all lamps B22 to E27 converters must be compatible to the South African Electrical network (50Hz and 230V).  Eskom IDM will require an unconditional product guarantee against latent defects for a period of five (5) years.  Eskom will only accept a 2% failure rate for the first three (3) years of operation. Should the failures exceed 2% within 12 months of last delivery, then the supplier is responsible to replace all failures and replaced unused stock with equipment from improved production.  The dimensions of the B22 to E27 Adapters lamps should be according VC8011 and to the SANS 61184 and SANS 60232 standards.  Current test reports from an approved and accredited test laboratory must be submitted with the offers. The reports must confirm the relevant tests requirements (Safety and Performance reports).  Size length must not be more than 50mm long
