Prior Fiscal Year Sample Clauses

Prior Fiscal Year. When an EMPLOYEE promoted to a higher class during a prior fiscal year receives a lesser salary than if promoted in the same class and from the same grade step during the current fiscal year his/her salary shall be adjusted on July 1, to the rate he/she would have received had he/she been promoted in the current fiscal year.

The MTA Department of Human Resources is hereby authorized to adjust the salary and anniversary increment date of any employee promoted from one class to a higher classification who would receive a lesser salary than an employee promoted at a later date to the same classification from the same salary step in the same base class from which the promotional examination was held.
