Common use of Pregnancy Disability Leave Clause in Contracts

Pregnancy Disability Leave. 13.11.1 A unit member may use sick leave for a temporary disability resulting from pregnancy, miscarriage or recovery therefrom. It is required that a disability statement from a licensed physician be submitted to the Human Resources Department which verifies the duration of the disability. Upon such verification, the unit member shall be entitled to use his/her sick leave for the above.
