POSTING BIDS. If the vacant position is not filled by the pre-bid process above, the vacancy shall be posted for bid. The vacancy will be posted for four (4) working days on all bulletin boards throughout the Authority. A copy of such notice shall be furnished to the Union. All vacancies or new positions so posted shall be filled within six (6) calendar days from the close of the posting period, provided a qualified employee applies. In selecting the qualified applicant as a result of the above posting, the appointing department shall make the selection from qualified applicants in the following sequence:
