SPECIAL SAFETY EQUIPMENT. All employees called upon in the course of their usual work to use air hoses in blowing off and/or vacuuming dust or metal filings shall be furnished with nose respirators and goggles by the Authority. Cloth gloves will be supplied to all spray painters and planks will be maintained on the floor in the Paint Shop at Division 3314. Full rain gear will be maintained in leak proof condition and will be made available to employees who are required to perform duties in the rain. Thermal gear, including earmuffs, will be furnished to employees in any classification while engaged in mountain work. The Authority will provide each employee up to two (2) pairs of regulation safety shoes/boots per contract year. Shoe allowance shall not exceed $130 for each pair.

Shoe allowance shall not exceed $180 for each pair; employees may use any remaining portion of the $180 shoe allowance for sock and/or shoe inserts. SECTION D – "ROLL-AWAY" TOOL BOXES The Authority will provide and maintain "roll-away" tool boxes for all mechanics, except bench mechanics, unless the employee elects to provide his/her own. The Authority will provide carriers equipped with casters for employee's privately-owned "roll- away" tool boxes. Carrier and casters are to remain the property of the Authority and are not to be removed from the Authority's premises. Authority will perform normal maintenance on privately-owned boxes. Painting will be restricted to any one color that the Authority has on hand. SECTION E – TOOL INSURANCE │ 2 0 2 2 - 2 0 2 4 a g r e e m e n t The Authority will provide each mechanic with tool insurance in the amount of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) per incident with a fifty dollars ($50) deductible provided, however, that the employee has furnished the Division Director with an inventory of the tools in the tool box. Insurance premiums to be paid by the Authority. The Authority may choose to self-insure and, if they do so, will advise the Union President in writing. Payment to be made for a total loss or partial loss due to forcible entry providing the employee has immediately reported the incident and the top box was bolted to the roll-away.

  • Safety Equipment Should the employment duties of an employee in the bargaining unit require use of any equipment or gear to insure the safety of the employee or others, the District agrees to furnish such equipment or gear.

Do not leave any unattended electrical equipment turned on (i.e. hair straighteners, lights etc.)

  • Television Equipment Recycling Program If this Contract is for the purchase or lease of covered television equipment, then Contractor certifies that it is compliance with Subchapter Z, Chapter 361 of the Texas Health and Safety Code related to the Television Equipment Recycling Program.

  • Safety Glasses 10.3.1 Where a teacher is considered to be working in an “eye danger” area, the teacher shall receive a personal issue of standard neutral safety glasses which shall remain the property of the employer.

  • Computer Equipment Recycling Program If this Contract is for the purchase or lease of computer equipment, then Contractor certifies that it is in compliance with Subchapter Y, Chapter 361 of the Texas Health and Safety Code related to the Computer Equipment Recycling Program and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality rules in 30 TAC Chapter 328.

  • Personnel Equipment and Material Engineer shall furnish and maintain, at its own expense, quarters for the performance of all Engineering Services, and adequate and sufficient personnel and equipment to perform the Engineering Services as required. All employees of Engineer shall have such knowledge and experience as will enable them to perform the duties assigned to them. Any employee of Engineer who, in the reasonable opinion of County, is incompetent or whose conduct becomes detrimental to the Engineering Services shall immediately be removed from association with the Project when so instructed by County. Engineer certifies that it presently has adequate qualified personnel in its employment for performance of the Engineering Services required under this Contract, or will obtain such personnel from sources other than County. Engineer may not change the Project Manager without prior written consent of County.

  • Additional Equipment Additional Equipment may from time to time be added as the subject matter of this Agreement as agreed on by the parties. Any additional property will be added in an amendment describing the property, the monthly rental, security deposit, and stipulated loss value of the additional Equipment. All amendments must be in writing and signed by both parties. Other than by this amendment procedure, this Agreement may not be amended, modified, or altered in any manner except in writing signed by both parties.

  • Capital Equipment Collaborator’s commitment, if any, to provide IC with capital equipment to enable the research and development activities under the Research Plan appears in Appendix B. If Collaborator transfers to IC the capital equipment or provides funds for IC to purchase it, then IC will own the equipment. If Collaborator loans capital equipment to IC for use during the CRADA, Collaborator will be responsible for paying all costs and fees associated with the transport, installation, maintenance, repair, removal, or disposal of the equipment, and IC will not be liable for any damage to the equipment.

  • Special Equipment The Employer agrees to provide specialty tools, emergency supplies/equipment, testing equipment and safety equipment as needed to perform required duties as determined and authorized by the Chief or designee. The emergency supplies/equipment will include appropriate survival provisions and equipment for each permanent Maintenance Mechanic 4 and the Law Enforcement Communications Systems Supervisor when they are performing duties that would require such provisions and equipment. When necessary, the employer will replenish used or expired survival provisions and damaged and unusable equipment. All supplies and equipment will be returned to the employer when the employee is no longer performing the duties that would require the survival provisions and/or equipment.
