Personal and Sick Days. Each employee is entitled to three personal days and ten paid sick days.

Personal and Sick Days. Executive will be entitled to paid personal or sick days in accordance with the Company’s vacation policy and to take up to 20 days of paid vacation per year. The timing and duration of specific vacations will be mutually and reasonably agreed to by the parties hereto.

  • Personal Illness Employees may use accumulated sick leave for hours off due to personal illness. The employee may be required to furnish a medical certificate from a qualified physician as evidence of illness or physical disability in order to qualify for paid sick leave as per District practice. Accumulated sick leave may also be granted for such time as is actually necessary for office visits to a doctor, dentist, optometrist, etc.

  • Personal/Xxxxx’s Leave 7.3.1 All full time employees shall be entitled to accrue paid personal / carer's leave on the basis of 10 days per year (or pro-rata thereof for any period less than one year). Part-time employees are entitled to a pro-rata benefit. Paid personal / carer's leave is cumulative.

  • Personal Days Employee shall be entitled to three (3) personal days annually, pro-rated for any partial year of employment, the unused portion of which shall accumulate as sick days.

An employee may have a personal grievance where: ▪ They have been dismissed without good reason, or the dismissal was not carried out properly. ▪ They have been treated unfairly. ▪ Their employment or a condition of their employment has been affected to their disadvantage by an unjustified action of their employer. ▪ They have experienced sexual or racial harassment, or have been discriminated against because of their involvement in a union or other employee organisation, or have suffered duress over membership or non-membership of a union or other employee organisation. ▪ They have been discriminated against in terms of the prohibited grounds of discrimination under the Human Rights Act 1993.

  • Personal Day All employees shall receive a personal day in each contract year. This personal day is in addition to the holidays listed in paragraph 3 above. The personal day shall be scheduled in accordance with the following provision: Employees may select such day off on five (5) days notice to the Employer provided such selection does not result in a reduction of employees in the building below 75% of the normal work staff. Such selection shall be made in accordance with seniority.

  • Personal Accident On payment of a Claim under Benefit II (a): Death or Permanent Total Disablement, the cover will cease in respect of that Insured Person.
