Paid Leave in Advance of Accrued Entitlement. The School may allow a Lutheran School Officer to take annual leave either wholly or partly in advance before the leave has accrued. Where paid leave has been granted to a Lutheran School Officer in excess of the Lutheran School Officer’s accrued entitlement, and the Lutheran School Officer subsequently leaves or is discharged from the service of the School before completing the required amount of service to account for the leave provided in advance, the School is entitled to deduct the amount of leave in advance still owing from any remuneration payable to the Lutheran School Officer upon termination of employment.
