Afternoon shift definition

Afternoon shift means any shift finishing after 6.00 p.m. and at or before midnight.
Afternoon shift means any shift finishing after 6.00 p.m. and at or before 1.00 a.m. "Day shift" means any shift finishing after 2.00 p.m. and at or before 6.00 p.m. "Night shift" means any shift finishing after 1.00 a.m. and at or before 7.00 a.m.
Afternoon shift means a shift commencing at or after 12.00 noon and before 6.00pm. "Night shift" means a shift commencing at or after 6.00pm and before 6.01am.

Shift workers working afternoon or night shifts shall be paid the following percentages in addition to the ordinary rate for such shift provided that part-time employees shall only be entitled to the additional rates where their shifts commence prior to 6 a.m. or finish subsequent to 6 p.m. Afternoon shift commencing at 10 a.m. and before 1 p.m. - 10 per cent.

Afternoon shift commencing at 1 p.m. and before 4 p.m. - 12½ per cent.
