Overtime includes: Holidays. Work on a holiday whether as part of the member's normal workweek or as required and authorized by his/her supervisor. Employees shall receive holiday pay equal to the hours worked at straight time plus the hours worked at the overtime (1½) rate. Days - Work in excess of eight (8) hours if regularly scheduled for a five (5) days week or ten (10) hours if regularly scheduled for a four (4) day week in any one (1) day or in excess of forty (40) hours during any work week, except for those classifications subject to fluctuations in daily working hours exempted by action of the Board of Trustees. Hourly On-going - Hourly on-going employees working four (4) hours or more for five (5) consecutive days, on the sixth (6th) and seventh (7th) day; hourly on-going employees working less than four (4) hours for five (5) consecutive days, on the seventh (7th) day. All hours worked beyond eight (8) consecutive hours shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1½) times the regular rate of pay for overtime or employees shall receive compensatory time at the rate of one and one-half (1½) times the overtime hours worked.

  • Paid Holidays – Long Weekends (a) When an employee is scheduled to work a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to also schedule the employee to work the paid holiday.

  • Overtime Overtime will begin to accrue after sixty (60) hours in a two (2) week period averaged over the scheduling period determined by the local parties. Overtime will apply if the employee works in excess of the normal daily hours. Payment for overtime is as in Article 16.01.

  • Overtime on a Holiday (a) Where an Employee is required to work overtime on a paid holiday, as defined in Article 18.01, she will receive compensation equal to 3.33 times her regular rate as follows:

  • Holiday Overtime An employee required to work on any of the above-named holidays will be paid holiday pay plus payment for the number of hours worked at the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) his regular straight time rate of pay.

  • Worked Holidays Employees who are required to work on the above-named holidays shall receive the pay due them for the holiday, plus double their base rate for all hours worked on such holiday, plus shift differential if applicable, unless the employee starts to work at 10:00 P.M., or thereafter on that day.

  • Overtime Meal Employees requested to work more than two (2) hours overtime after completion of their regular shift, will be given one-half (1/2) hour on Company time to eat their lunch and will be given seven dollars ($7.00) meal money.

  • Work on Holidays An employee who is required to work, or works with prior approval, any part of a holiday shall receive holiday compensatory time for up to eight (8) hours, on an hour for hour basis, for the actual non-overtime hours worked in addition to their regular rate of pay. An employee who works overtime on a holiday shall be compensated in accordance with all applicable pay and overtime provisions. An employee must use holiday compensatory time within one (1) year after having accrued that time.

  • Holiday Worked In addition to Subsection A above, employees will be compensated for the hours actually worked on a holiday at the overtime rate, in accordance with Article 17, Overtime.
