OUTSIDE APPEARANCES. 5.21.1 shall not place or do anything on any part of its external yard area or the common property, including entrance/roller shutter doors and external walls which, at the discretion of the LANDLORD, is aesthetically displeasing or undesirable when viewed from the unit, any adjacent unit, the common area or from outside the park.

OUTSIDE APPEARANCES. The Board will encourage Xxxxxx to accept occasional invitations to speak and/or give presentations to various outside organizations within frequency guidelines established by the Board. For calendar year 2023, Xxxxxx will use his best judgment in deciding whether to accept any such outside appearance based on the estimated amount of time it is expected to require. On an annual basis starting in February 2024, Xxxxxx will share with the Board the number of such outside appearances he has made in the prior calendar year, including an estimate of the approximate amount of time he was required to be away from the West Lafayette campus solely as a result of such appearances. The Board will establish and adjust its frequency guidelines for such outside appearances based on its annual review of the information shared by Xxxxxx.

  • Appearances (a) When an employee participates during working hours in an arbitration proceeding or in a grievance meeting between the grievant or representative and the University, that employee's compensation shall neither be reduced nor increased for time spent in those activities.

  • Appearance The Employee must appear at the Employer’s desired workplace at the time scheduled. If the Employee does not appear, for any reason, on more than separate occasions in a 12-month calendar period the Employer has the right to terminate this Agreement immediately. In such event, the Employee would not be granted severance as stated in Section III.

  • Personal Appearance All teachers shall maintain dress, grooming and personal appearance consistent with their area of teaching.

  • Court Appearances If an employee is subpoenaed to appear as a witness in a job-related court case, not during the employee’s regularly assigned shift, the employee shall be credited for actual time worked, or a minimum of two and one-half hours, whichever is greater.

  • Common Areas Tenant shall have the non-exclusive right to use in common with other tenants in the Project, and subject to the Rules and Regulations referred to in Article 5 of this Lease, those portions of the Project which are provided, from time to time, for use in common by Landlord, Tenant and any other tenants of the Project (such areas, together with such other portions of the Project designated by Landlord, in its discretion, including certain areas designated for the exclusive use of certain tenants, or to be shared by Landlord and certain tenants, are collectively referred to herein as the “Common Areas”). The Common Areas shall consist of the “Project Common Areas” and the “Building Common Areas.” The term “Project Common Areas,” as used in this Lease, shall mean the portion of the Project designated as such by Landlord or areas within the Project that the occupants of the Building are permitted to utilize pursuant to a recorded declaration and which areas shall be maintained in accordance with the declaration. The term “Building Common Areas,” as used in this Lease, shall mean the portions of the Common Areas located within the Building reasonably designated as such by Landlord. The manner in which the Common Areas are maintained and operated shall be at the reasonable discretion of Landlord and the use thereof shall be subject to the Rules and Regulations as Landlord may make from time to time. Landlord reserves the right to close temporarily, make alterations or additions to, or change the location of elements of the Project and the Common Areas, provided that, in connection therewith, Landlord shall perform such closures, alterations, additions or changes in a commercially reasonable manner and, in connection therewith, shall use commercially reasonable efforts to minimize any material interference with Tenant’s use of and access to the Premises.

  • Communications Equipment Members of the board of directors or any committee thereof may participate in and act at any meeting of such board or committee through the use of a conference telephone or other communications equipment by means of which all persons participating in the meeting can hear each other, and participation in the meeting pursuant to this section shall constitute presence in person at the meeting.

  • Exterior and interior functional areas and spaces of the Project, with technical and equipment requirements on each;

  • Leave for Court Appearances (a) The Employer shall grant paid leave to employees, other than employees on leave without pay, who serve as jurors or witnesses in a court action, provided such court action is not occasioned by the employee's private affairs.
