Notice of Continuing Employment. On or before July 1, the Board shall give to each employee written notification of the employee's assignment and work hours for the next succeeding year. If the employee desires to accept employment as offered, they shall notify the Board of such acceptance, in writing, within fifteen (15) days of receipt of the notification in which event such employment shall continue as provided herein. If the employee does not notify the district of their intent to accept the position within the fifteen days, the Board shall not be required to continue the employment of the employee and the employee will be considered to have voluntarily resigned.
