Net Salary Increase after Application of Insurance Premium Increase Sample Clauses

Net Salary Increase after Application of Insurance Premium Increase. The Board and the Union recognize that health insurance premiums may increase over the term of this contract at a rate greater than the rate of wage increases. It is desirable that increases in employee premium costs will not prevent employees from receiving a net wage increase after application of the cost of health insurance premiums. The Board shall provide the Union with a report each year promptly after health insurance premiums are set for the school year showing the difference between each employee’s gross pay and the net pay after subtraction of the employee’s share of the health insurance premium. At the written request of the Union to the Board, the Board and the Union shall meet to negotiate the impact of health insurance premium increases on any employee who does not receive a net pay increase.
