Long Term Medical Leave Due to Illness or Injury. A. If an employee is injured or becomes ill and will be off work in excess of 3 working days, a medical leave of absence may be granted as long as a doctor confirms an employee’s inability to perform his or her regular work duties. When on such leave, the employee must report the status of his or her condition to the DISTRICT every 10 working days unless other reporting arrangements have been made.

  • Family Medical Leave or Critical Illness Leave a) Family Medical Leave or Critical Illness leaves granted to a permanent Teacher or long-term Occasional Teacher under this Article shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Standards Act, 2000, as amended.
