Leisure and Recreation. A jointly funded post has been appointed within Angus Council Leisure Services to focus on development of opportunities for people with disabilities to access physical activities in Council facilities. To focus effort on development of opportunities elsewhere a Leisure and Recreation service has been established in learning disability services. The Leisure and Recreation service currently consists of a full-time Leisure and Recreation Co-ordinator and 45 hours of Community Social Care Officer input per week. The Leisure and Recreation service is responsible for the expansion of leisure experiences throughout Angus. Inclusive opportunities based in community settings are the main focus. Current Leisure and Recreation provision consists of 17 new community groups and ‘one to one’ alternative support for 8 people. The community groups comprise of accessible activity based sessions such as Keep Fit, Dance/Drama, Social Dancing, Music, Art and social and community mapping groups. These allow people to meet and form new links, and develop skills and interests more fully. Currently the number of people attending the groups who are therefore diverted from Centre use accounts for 36 half-day sessions per week. The number of people attending with Centre support accounts for 60 half-day sessions per week. The number of people accessing from outwith Centres with little or no previous provision accounts for 47 half- day sessions per week. The objectives of the Leisure and Recreation Service are to: • Increase alternative options to traditional Day Centres’ for those people who attend a Centre and wish an alternative and for those people with little or not other provision and unmet need. • Provide alternative services for young people leaving school and college. • Develop a more comprehensive structure of activities and support. • Develop stronger links with local groups and organisations.

  • Investigations and Restoration The NTO shall promptly conduct investigations of equipment malfunctions and failures and forced transmission outages in a manner consistent with applicable FERC, PSC, NRC, NERC, NPCC and NYSRC rules, principles, guidelines, standards and requirements, ISO Procedures and Good Utility Practice. The NTO shall supply the results of such investigations to the NYSRC, the ISO, and, pursuant to Section 3.5.3 of the ISO Services Tariff, the other Transmission Owners. Following a total or partial system interruption, restoration shall be coordinated between the ISO control center and local control centers. The local control centers shall have the authority, in coordination with the ISO, to restore the system and to re-establish service if doing so would minimize the period of service interruption. The NTO shall determine the level of resources to be applied to restore facilities to service following a failure, malfunction, or forced transmission outage.
