Joint Planning in Angus. In Angus the planning of community care services is integrated into the corporate structure for community planning which has been agreed by all partners organisations. The overarching community planning structure is set in Figure (1). Environment Forum Angus Community Planning Partnership Drug & Alcohol Action Team Within the community planning framework, the Health Safe and Caring Communities Partnership was set up in 2002 as part of a realigning of joint working arrangements. The main aim of this partnership is: This partnership oversees the work of four sub-groups, including the Joint Management and Commissioning Group (Health & Community Care). It is this group which addresses issues relating to the provision of community care services. This group is jointly chaired by Angus Council’s Director of Social Work and Health and the Angus LHCC General Manager and has appropriate representation from key agencies and the voluntary sector. The work of this group is supported by a multi-agency Joint Strategic Support Unit, and by planning groups for each of the care groups within the community care plan.
