Common use of Leave for Court Appearances Clause in Contracts

Leave for Court Appearances. An employee who is called for Jury Duty or as a witness provided such court action is not initiated by the employee's personal affairs shall continue to receive their regular pay. The employee shall turn over to the University any monies received from the Crown for the days the employee is normally scheduled to work providing this does not exceed the employee's regular pay rate.
