INDEPENDENCE OF CONTRACTS. The parties concur that this contract and the authorities and conditions of this provision are independent of any contract between the Contractor and other parties for the conduct of “Work for Others.” By authorizing the Contractor to perform Work for Others, NASA makes no assurances to the Contractor or Others as to performance of the objects tested in NASA facilities or other test objects, and relieves the Contractor of none of its obligations under any other contract, grant, or other agreement. INDEPENDENCE OF CONTRACTS. The contracts presented in the following subsections are architecture-independent and can be mapped to any ISA. Our contracts argue about general architectural principles not specific to any particular ISA. In the following subsections, we perform the step of mapping the contracts to RISC-V, and give examples of which scenarios are allowed and disallowed. It is future research to map our contracts onto other architectures.
