Work for Others Sample Clauses
The "Work for Others" clause defines the conditions under which a party, typically an employee or contractor, may engage in work for third parties outside their primary engagement. It often specifies whether such external work is permitted, requires prior approval, or is restricted to prevent conflicts of interest or misuse of confidential information. For example, an employee may need to notify their employer before taking on freelance projects, or may be prohibited from working for direct competitors. This clause serves to protect the primary party’s business interests and intellectual property, ensuring that outside work does not interfere with or compromise the obligations and loyalty owed to the main employer or client.
