Health and Human Service Contract Dispute Resolution Procedure. (a) The City Nonprofit Contracting Task Force submitted its final report to the Board of Supervisors in June 2003. The report contains thirteen recommendations to streamline the City’s contracting and monitoring process with health and human services nonprofits. These recommendations include: (1) consolidate contracts, (2) streamline contract approvals, (3) make timely payment, (4) create review/appellate process, (5) eliminate unnecessary requirements, (6) develop electronic processing, (7) create standardized and simplified forms, (8) establish accounting standards, (9) coordinate joint program monitoring, (10) develop standard monitoring protocols, (11) provide training for personnel, (12) conduct tiered assessments, and (13) fund cost of living increases. The Board adopted the recommendations in February 2004. Health and Human Service Contract Dispute Resolution Procedure. The following Dispute Resolution Procedure provides a process to resolve any disputes or concerns relating to the administration of an awarded professional services grant or grant between the City and County of San Francisco and nonprofit health and human services grantees. Grantees and City staff should first attempt to come to resolution informally through discussion and negotiation with the designated contact person in the department. If informal discussion has failed to resolve the problem, grantees and departments should employ the following steps:

  • GRIEVANCE ARBITRATION PROCEDURE The grievance-arbitration procedure set forth in Sections 18.37 through 18.43 shall be applicable only to disputes arising under Division C of this article.

  • CENTRAL DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCESS The following process pertains exclusively to disputes and grievances on central matters that have been referred to the central process. In accordance with the School Board Collective Bargaining Act, 2014 central matters may also be grieved locally, in which case local grievance processes will apply. In the event that central language is being grieved locally, the local parties shall provide the grievance to their respective central agents.

  • Dispute Resolution Procedures (a) In the event a dispute arises about the interpretation, application, calculation of Loss, or calculation of payments or otherwise with respect to this Single Family Shared-Loss Agreement (“SF Shared-Loss Dispute Item”), then the Receiver and the Assuming Institution shall make every attempt in good faith to resolve such items within sixty (60) days following the receipt of a written description of the SF Shared-Loss Dispute Item, with notification of the possibility of taking the matter to arbitration (the date on which such 60-day period expires, or any extension of such period as the parties hereto may mutually agree to in writing, herein called the “Resolution Deadline Date”). If the Receiver and the Assuming Institution resolve all such items to their mutual satisfaction by the Resolution Deadline Date, then within thirty (30) days following such resolution, any payment due as a result of such resolution shall be made arising from the settlement of the SF Shared-Loss Dispute.

  • GRIEVANCE AND ARBITRATION PROCEDURES 8.01 For the purposes of this Agreement, a grievance is defined as a difference arising between the parties related to the interpretation, application, administration or alleged violation of the Agreement including any question as to whether a matter is arbitrable.
